Just a quickie (maybe longer)...
Aside the problems with granting permission to plough through other people's land (THV) or set up a stadium on a site of outstanding natural beauty, what is the criteria that BHA are using to define good transport accessibility?
I cannot recall that many grounds with particularly good transport accessibility, especially newer grounds that have been built on the outskirts of town such as Reading, Stoke, Hull etc. Transport links are put in place regardless of local parking and railway stations. Shuttle buses from the centre of town and from local rail stations/bus stations enable fans to get there no problems. If you ever see Cardiff City play, you'll see the immense amount of coaches that transport supporters to and from the game.
I'm intruiged to know what the guidelines are for transport access to Falmer/any other site considered?
