MP's blogs don't reallly say anything about funding progress. The earthworks, whilst impressive are relatively cheap when compared to the main construction and I have heard of others that begin projects with the earthworks to give the impression that it is all steam ahead, when the reality is that progress will stop when the cash runs out.

So when the earthworks have been completed...where is the cash coming from for the rest...do we know? I am worried that we have no funding in place and thus the stadium will be significantly delayed. Any light you can she would be appreciated by us all I am sure.

Thanks,

Parks

Funding is on track. The week before last the City Council who acting as landlord have to approve the funding, took a confidential report to Cabinet seeking authorization to sign off the funding without coming back to Cabinet. This was approved. They were able to do this because they have seen where we are and are happy that we are making good progress with it.
