Yes, that may be the case, of course, though I cannot help feeling that this should be the other way round -the "customer" sorry fan is king!
Just looked again -hundreds now available in almost every area of the ground. If they are for club hangers-on, then they don't seem too deserving, given that they don't want to attend what is arguably one the most important matches in years; how many genuine fans throughout the purchase time might have changed their areas, had they known that availability in their preferred area was there all along.

It is very odd. W3H was "sold out" a few days ago and now, with 48 hours to kick off, has 43 seats available to sell which are all singles. If someone could invent software that allowed ticket sellers to avoid this situation they'd make a fortune.

Sales pretty much dried up with 407 singles left all over the stadium after the release of another and I believe final lot of extra tickets possible held back for Players, Staff, Comps ? Just 50 - 60 sold today so by kick off on Sunday maybe couple of hundred single seats scattered all over the Amex will be free. With segregation it should still be over 31,000

Assume draw for Semis after the later game on sun ?
Biggest home cup game for 37 years, biggest ever cup game at the Amex. Good chance of progressing (taking nothing for granted). Why wouldn’t you?

I’m seeing my mum after the game!!

Can’t believe it hasn’t sold out yet , FA CUP quarter final at the Amex with a good chance of going through,
if we can’t sell out for this tie , mmmmm

I don’t agree though
- we could have given a few more to Grimsby
- of even greater relevance is that the club have been releasing tickets in cribs and drabs over the past 24 hours and for some that’s too late
