Winning clubs receive £40,000
The draw for the Third Round Proper will be televised live on BBC1 at 3.10pm on Sunday and here are the numbers to look out for.
Kevin Beattie and Sammy Nelson will be drawing the teams at the stage where the Championship and Premier League sides come into the equation and the prospects of giankillings becomes a tangible reality.
Sir Trevor Brooking, The FA's Director of Football Development, will be presenting the draw from Soho Square.
There are 64 Third Round ties, which will be played on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 January next year.
There is also the small matter of £40,000 in prize money at stake for the winners of each Third Round tie, while sides selected for live television coverage will also receive an FA TV fee of £150,000.
