I am normally okay with Excel but need some help on this one. I want to write either a formula (or a series of formula) that will look at a worksheet where someone has selected the sex and age of children and report a total number based on the following criteria:
Only 1 child report 1
2 children same sex report 1
2 children different sex both aged under 10 report 1
2 children different sex one or more aged 10 or more report 2
For example of there were 3 children a male aged 5 and 2 girls aged 7 and 12 it would report 2.
Anyone any ideas or will I need to do it in VB? If I will need to do it in VB anyone got any links to some good free tutorials that will help since I know nothing about VB.
