So whats your take on this group of Everton fans making statements to the police about the behaviour of the Man U players following their 4th goal ? Personally, I think those fans are a precious bunch of pricks. Fans dish out all sorts of stick to players throughout the game, but as soon as player(s) give some back in the heat of the moment, the fans go running to the police. Pathetic.

Scum like McLeish and that odious little twat at Grimsby have wound me up no end with their goading, but it would never cross my mind to go bleating to the authorities about it. You give it out, you can expect some back. Along with most people, I have quite an intense dislike of Man U, and I wouldn't normally defend their players. But in this case, I think those Everton fans should just get a bloody life.

Total agreement, I am sure none of the fans who have complained have ever given any opposing players any abuse!!!

On my few visits to Liverpool the amount of abuse coming from the terraces has been amongst the worst particularly the younger fans remember seeing a gruop of 4-5 yr olds with their dads giving a coach we were on the wanker sign then lobbing a bottle at us.

Amongst other things, they are all accusing Keane of sticking two fingers up.

Watched the Premireship last night and he quite clearly threw a closed fist upwards in expression of joy.

They haven't got a clue. They are pissed off they lost in that fashion and are clutching at straws.

Whinging twats. f*** off.

You are joking?

Behaving like what?

Give them a break, they had just scored a last minute winner in a 4-3 epic. I'd like to see how everyone else would react in the same situation.

As much as I dont like Manc players, they didnt do anything wrong and in heat of the moment ie losing a 3-0 lead but nicking a late winner, they are entitled to show their emotions

On a minor note, a few minutes after we started chanting Reading reject to Nathan Tyson, he scored and did the pistol salute to us, fair play, nobody reports him to the authorities, the Toffeemen should just get over it.

Of all clubs to report a someone for bad behaviour.... Oi Kettle! Did you see the hatred on their fan's faces in that stand?

So Albion fans didn't cause a stink about that twat at Grimsby?

There are many people who wanted the guy's head for doing something similar...pot, kettle?

It's also a bit dumb putting a post on here calling Everton fans ' whinging scousers' at a time when we're trying to drum up support from all clubs:shootself

This is another we were talking about on Saturday...

Albion fans give it out as much as any other club, often in very amusing and imaginative ways. However, as soon as a player gives a little bit back we all become 'Outraged of Brighton'.

It is a difficult one though. Yes, I think players should be able to, within reason, give a little bit back. But, without question, it can cause large scale disturbances and jeopardise safety.

Scott McGleish IS a wanker, though.

Agreed. And a kiddy fiddler, no doubt.

But the difference is, I don't remember reading in the papers a day or two later about Albion fans reporting the bloke to the police, and having him hauled in for questioning over it.

I say its fair game for the players to answer back a bit if the fans give them grief. I know I would !!!!

agree with you easy. its a very modern part of the game unfortuanately. occasionaly i reckon its fair enough to complain (nicky law anyone?) if some twat goes overboard inciting the crowd, but other than that live with it. if you can dish it out...

If we'd been in the Premiership I'm sure you would have. There were plenty of people posting on here who wanted him fined/chucked out.

Personally I think it gives the game a little bit extra when wankers like McGleish and Rammell play against us in future games, having taken the piss.
