Euro 2004 ticket swaps

For all you people going to Euro 2004, anyone wanna swap tickets?

I have tickets for

16th June 1945
Russia v Portugal
Lisbon

21st June 1945
Switzerland v France
Coimbra

14th June 1945
Sweden v Bulgaria
Lisbon

23rd June 1945
Germany v Czech Rep
Lisbon

I would consider swapping any of these for a ticket for any other match, so if you've got a ticket for Holland-Latvia, for example, and would prefer to see Germany-Czech Republic, why not swap?

xx

So let me get this straight. The only way to get tickets was to guess which cities your chosen country was going to play in, and now the draw has been made, you've end up with tickets for the wrong games?

So now theres going to be loads of English with tickets to Czech Rep v Latvia? Unbelievable!

No, you could have gone on to the website and chosen a 'my preferred team'. You choose your side, and they then allocate tickets per game.

I have my tickets because I went the generic route - I do not care which teams I get to see. I picked a venue, and a given game. Now that the draw has been made, people who went the 'my preferred team' route are now getting their tickets allocated. It is done on a random draw basis rather than first come, first served.

This is why England v Croatia has been moved from Coimbra to Lisbon - the demand is just so high, and the 'generic' route has undersold. But you are right, Willow, there may be a black market for tickets now. Most of the games are 'officially' sold out. Which mean ticket aganices - licensed and unlicensed - will have bought a whole load of tickets.

Personally, I cannot believe Latvia will sell out the matches. I believe I can get a ticket for Latvia v Holland without trying to hard - and probably for face value or even less.
