Euro 2004 : Are Yellow cards carried through?

Anyone know if Yellow Cards are carried through to the knockout stages?

Or is the "slate wiped clean", as it is in the World Cup?

i believe they do not count after the group stage.

Automatic suspension
As usual, players will receive an automatic one-match suspension if they receive a red card or two yellow cards in either the group stage or the knockout stage at the final tournament, but single yellow cards will be expunged after the group stage.
