Hope they go through with these proposals. About time someone other than the French stood up to US Cultural Imperialism.

Yeah I can't wait to watch more german sitcoms, french soaps and belgian quiz shows. What a load of nonsense. Will boost the brexit vote for sure.

If the quota only requires the shows or movies to have been partially produced in Europe then it would have little to no effect on Netflix currently, according to Ampere Analysis, but if the main country of origin must be in Europe then a slight increase would be required.

So basically a big fuss over nothing
