We currently have Sky and so obviously was just a tad disappointed that the game next week is going to be on ESPN.

However, I have just received an e-mail from Sky offering 2 months free ESPN!!!!....well, I was wondering if anyone else had received this at all and if so were they going to take up the 2 months free trial or is their a catch??

Yes, I have received it, be rude not to take them up on their offer, just remember to cancel in a months time as they require 31 days notice for cancellation.

Yes, I've just had the same offer and yes I've taken it up.

I've read the small print and I don't see the catch as long as you cancel it 31 days before the end of the 2 months. In theory it shouldn't cost you a bean.

Does anyone know if this 2-month free offer, is open to all Sky customers, or just those with the Sky Sports package?

Thanks.

Ring Sky and say you noticed that in August there was a 3 months for free offer on ESPN and is a similar deal available for Xmas.

I have sky sports but haven't had the offer. Wonder if they are geo-targetting!! In Kent, they will assume I'm not going to be interested. In Brighton they will assume you support Chelsea, but a few might follow Brighton.

Sky must be profiling , if they think you're a plastic/armchair footy fan they'll send an e-mail

Just rang them and the guy at the other end said he could find nothing about it.....got a number to call?

These are the same customer service agents who kept saying there was no problem with the Sky Sports HD picture which was juddering until their technical services guys replicated the glitch and then applied a fix two months after it was first identified.
