Does anyone remember this in late eighties or maybe early nineties? Think it was Gerry Armstrong, in SSC at southwick. He leapt over the barrier and went did ninja move on a fan. Very funny but I was only a teenager and can't remember the detail. Can anyone enlighten?

Wasn't a ninja style kung-fu kick, he went up to the bloke and nutted him as I remember.

It was a Sussex Senior Cup game, and I think we ended up with 9 men, as Mark Cooper (?) also got sent off I think. We lost in extra-time, and Gerry was sat in the back of a police car as I was walking awau from the ground. Good ol' Gerry Headstrong.

I remember that it was a sussex senior cup game, i was about 12 i thought he jumped in to the crowd and headbutted a fan? could be wrong though could have been a kick bit of a shame for his lasts game for the club but also very funny

Yeah was stood about 10 yards away, Gerry jumped in the crowd and nutted him. The guy was shouting abuse at him and he took offence

At the same time, did Southwick's brief elevation end with an embezzlement or alleged embezzlement, and they found their true level as tiny again?
