Why are we incapable of producing decent one day wickets - were England's performances over the last week or so not purely down to us being rubbish? Seems that the wickets so far this series have been very bowler friendly.

One day cricket is all about the flashing blade, scores of 250 plus. No-one wants to see a side all out for 150, thats not why the crowds come.

Better not be like that on Sunday here at Bristol.

Harmison back on enow. Going for the juggler, to try and bowl them out for 120-130. We need at least 1 wicket in this spell otherwise they might still creep up and get 200-220.

Still got a couple of overs left from golden arm Jimmy Anderson but can't see where else the wickets might come from.

However, this goes to prove that batsmen are more important than bowlers when it comes to the all rounders. We have got through 10 overs from McGrath and Trescothick for a reasonably decent 0-40 (assuming the last 2 overs don't get smashed).
