Our 1 day side looks very ordinary without Flintoff innit

I am going to the game at Bristol on Sunday and was really looking forward to it - not now though, we are garbage. Trescothick and Vaughan have to take a big responsibility for this rubbish, yet again getting out to poor shots.

West Indies have Lara coming in at 5, we have Collingwood. Big difference.

Collingwood, McGrath, Clarke, Blackwell - just not good enough.

If you are going to play 4 specialist bowlers like we are today, why play 3 allrounders who just aren't good enough at either. Should play Key plus one other batsman and only one allrounder. Man, do we miss Freddie.

Someone needs to bang some heads together amongst the one day selectors and get them to pick a respectable team.

There is so much dross in there at the moment. People like Bell, Mascharenas, Sales, Napier and co should be given a chance rather than the tried and tested McGrath and Clarke, both toss.

Also Vaughan himself is a very average one day player, whole batting line-up needs serious looking at.

English sport is looking up at the moment, out the Euro's, egg chasers being stuffed down under, cricketers being stuffed in the one dayers....................................at least we have Tim to rely on ???

New Zealand have bowled well and England have played some bad shots, Trescothick in particular. I've resorted to coming on here instead of watching that shambles.

Why all the all-rounders.

f*** SAKE, Fletcher.

Vaughan lost the toss and got put into bat and said he would have chosen to bat first anyway as the ball will move more under the floodlights when England bowl.

Was he expecting an eclipse at six o'clock then
