Maiden from Gough (1 lb), and Harmison 'ruffled' Gilchrist with a 90 mph bouncer.

After 2 overs, Australia 2-0.

Blowers is almost wetting himself with excitement in the Sports Extra commentary box!!

Anyone watching this - looks like (from Cricinfo) that Gilchrist is trying his luck with a few shots - still, I guess thats the way he plays. Showing a bit of respect to Harmison - 2nd ball over 90mph - very impressive.

Sounds like they are going after Goughie a bit.

Oops Tresco drops Gilchrist (22*) in Flintoff's first over... 38/0 after 7 overs.

7.6 Harmison to Hayden, OUT: Gone! full ball, outside off, goes for the drive, big edge in the hands of Trescothick at first slip, this time he makes no mistake and takes it comfortably.

13.6 Gough to Gilchrist, OUT: short ball, outside off, Gilchrist guides it in the hands of Trescothick at gully, Gough strikes.

69/2 14 overs bowled

Gilo got Ponting but then dropped Martyn 3 balls later. We simply have to take all chances against Australia to beat them. Do you think this preys on their minds thus creating more pressure when these chances come along?

We can't afford for them to have 5 or 6 wickets left with 10 overs to go to let Symonds loose. he is their Freddie and could take them to 280 if we aren't careful. However, get him in and out within 5 overs and we could restrict them to 240 (optimistic). 265 more likely I reckon.

Thank GOD. Symonds out for a duck, if we take another wicket soon we're down to Lee and the rest of the bowlers and could keep them to a moderate score.

201/5

Martyn 59*
Carke 9*

Great period of play for us. Lehman, Martyn and Symonds out in the space of 20 minutes. Let's keep the tail quiet and we could be chasing a relatively low target.

Could be the longest hatrick in cricket history. Wasn't his last wicket the last ball of the 49th over? He won't get another ball in this match.

Australia finish on 259/9.

Could have been a lot worse when Lehmann and Martyn were going along nicely.

catch us if you can... but i doubt it

Must admit I do worry about Trsesco and Strauss in this situation but I reckon Vaughan might turn it on.

McGrath, Gillespie, Kasprowicz and Lee in the line up, no messin'!
