Ironic cheers when Monye catches a high ball, and boos ring out at another Geraghty kick going straight into touch.

And more kickable penalties conceeded... fortunately missed...

Looking grim :nono:

What is the matter with no.15 for England, dropped a simple ball earlier and now not releasing the ball

Welcome to the 'sport' (cough) of Rugby Union.

England have tended to be a grind 'em down rely on the forwards with a kicking game type of team, I agree it's dull and incredibly frustrating as an England fan. However New Zealand, Wales (spit), and Australia have a tendency to run the ball far more than England. So to tar a complete sport because of England's incompetence to actually play the game as it should be played is a bit harsh. Similar in some ways to the dullness, until recently, of the England football team through the years. Maybe we are just a bit thick and predictable in our approach at World level :lolol:

I was actually at this match. The one thing I can say is that Monye is not a full back. I dont really understand why one of our best wingers is at full back. I doubt the RFU will use cardboard signs for fans to hold up any more - as you could probably see on the tellybox- they made fantastic paper aerplanes.

Twickenham is a fantastic stadium with a fantastic atmosphere - I just hope that we sort out our act before the six nations. We gave the ball away too easily, the ball took ages to come out of the ruck and we were too slow at moving the ball along the back row. Argentina weren't much better, but they had passion. They wanted to beat us. As the Southampton result showed yesterday, a bit of passion can go a long way in sport.
