So England U21 have just won there 7th game in a row. Are any of you excited by England's future footballers from this bunch?
Personally I am glad to see some exciting wingers coming through.

They've not played anyone of note in this sequence though have they? Some choice competive victories against German or Spanish sides might get me excited. Otherwise it's a case of seen and heard it all before.

Lets hope we get to see them running out at the Amex soon. I think the home game against Wales in the Euro 2015 qualifiers would do nicely!

Definitely excited about Ince, looks a potential star. Every time I've seen Will Hughes of Derby he also looks like a real player considering how young he is. Chalobah was one of the best player's I've seen play against us this season. Zaha is an outstanding talent and Connor Wickham definitely has real potential, he was one of the best young players I've ever seen when I saw him play a few times for Ipswich but he needs a move to get regular football, he's being wasted at Sunderland at the moment and his confidence has taken a knock.

So yes I am quite excited about this lot.

Yeah, I'm more excited about the U-21's than the Seniors at the moment as its seems a bit more organised and competitive now. Less rush to force young players into the senior squad now so they are learning to grow as a group which is a big plus to me.

It's another reason why I'm so glad Hodgson got the job over Redknapp. Hodgson is clearly focused on the future as well as the present and seems really bought into improving the quality and success of the U-21, U-19 and lower teams. In my opinion, Redknapp is a manager for short term success, not building for the future.

Best way to improve the young players is to have them PLAY for the Under-21's and do well in big tournaments!

NOT sit them on the full squad's bench and bring them on for the last 10 minutes, 3-0 against Moldova etc.

Just like a promising young player shouldn't be sat on Liverpool's bench (equivalent of England the last 20 or so years? History and standing in the game but won bugger all despite some enormous names) but should be playing in the championship or L1.
