England squad to play Germany: Carson, Hart, James, Bridge, Davies, Johnson, Terry, Lescott, Mancienne, Richards, Upson, Barry, Carrick, Downing, Lampard, Gerrard, Wright-Phillips, A Young, Agbonlahor, Bent, Crouch, Defoe, Walcott.

Not so sure about this Mancienne lad but now is the time to experiment

From what I have seen of Capellos tenure so far, I really dont read too mcuh into his friendly squads. Thought Owen might have made an appearance though

I'm pleased that some youngsters are in the squad. It is best that English players get their football education at an early age.....and this game will be an education for the English.

Suprised Paul Robinson not back as he has been receiving rave reviews since joining Blackburn, and would think that Spurs regret him leaving to be replaced by the clown.

Statistically Paul Robinson is the worst keeper in the Premiership.

I think he has conceded more goals from shots outside the area than any other keeper

Thank god Young and and Agbonlahor are finally in the squad. Hopefully they'll be there for the next competitive game, not just some absolute waste of time joke of a game.

As someone who is going to Berlin on Wednesday to see the game I am once again disappointed by the fact it will be a very below strength team.

I think as an England fan you accept that due the Premiership and the power it holds friendlies will only ever be treated as second best and therefore watching England in a friendly is always going to be frustrating and unrewarding but as this is Germany I did think it was a good chance to put out the strongest team and try and do them over again.

Can't see any of this squad competing with one of the best footballing nations in the world.

With the obvious exception of Friedel and Laursen, Capello should fill those positions and otherwise play the entire Aston Villa team against Germany.

It was good to see an English Team out play Arsenals Foreign Legion in the English Premier League.

Better that than Lescott, Downing and crew

I'll be there too, but I think there is the makings of a decent side there and I have 100% trust in Fab.
