Gough had 17 credit cards stolen. SEVENTEEN credit cards, does the guy have a debt problem
?
From the Sun:
ENGLAND cricket stars Michael Vaughan and Darren Gough were robbed of hundreds of pounds in a dressing-room raid.
Captain Vaughan and fast bowler Gough had their wallets stolen before the NatWest Series one-dayer against New Zealand in Durham — which England lost by seven wickets.
Vaughan lost £1,200 in cash as well as credit cards and pictures of his baby daughter Tallulah.
His wallet also contained a match ticket autographed by Brian Lara for the third day of England’s Test in Antigua in April.
It was the day when West Indies skipper Lara made a world record score of 400 not out.
Gough lost £300 and a total of 17 credit cards.
The thefts happened on Monday evening as England were practising. The dressing room was left unlocked and there was no guard on the door.
A man described as ‘balding and in his 40s’ was captured by CCTV cameras entering the dressing room.
Vaughan, 29, said: “I had so much cash because I’d been given two weeks’ worth of expenses allowance.”
Gough, 33, said: “I worked out I had 17 cards which all had to be cancelled.
“It’s not so much the money — I just want to see the bloke caught.”
