OK, so he's only captained England at Under-19 and Under-21's level, but he's an England captain all the same!

Gary O'Neil, midfielder, signed for us today on loan from Portsmouth.

We've got loads of Welsh internationals left. Which is probably why we're in the relegation zone.....

PS: Speaking of Welsh internationals, there are plenty of rumours here about John Robinson returning to Brighton in the near future. And you'd be welcome to him too.

Gillingham were trying to sign Gary O'Neil in time for the match tomorrow, so thats a bonus.

Added to the fact that Darren Byfield is doubtful cos he's been ill all week with a virus.

Added to the fact that Iwan Roberts has been banned by the FA for comments made in his recent book (about when he was playing for NORWICH).

Added to the fact that Andy Hessenthaler still has a really stupid haircut.

The points are in the bag

LB - What's the word on the street about John Robinson? Has he fallen out with the Club? Or has his form faded away? - LB

His mother is reportedly very ill, and he has been spending a lot of his time in Brighton this season as a result. He was given the whole of last week off on compassionate leave. He's back in our squad for the trip to Wolves, but is unlikely to play as he hasn't been training.

The word is that the travelling between Brighton and Cardiff is now seriously bothering him, and he wants to spend more time in Sussex with his family. Rumours of a possible move to Albion have been circulating here for a few weeks now.

His form has been absolutely awful lately, although he did play well in the first couple of games.

It could be that a move would now be best for both the player and the club. I would wish him well, as he's never given less than 100%, but I wouldn't be sorry to see him go to be honest. I think he's got a couple of seasons left in him yet, but his personal circumstances are making things difficult for him here.

Ah - that explains the rumours. His agent is hoping for a cut of a transfer and Robinson is hoping for the same wages and less travelling.

Will you tell them or shall I?

BTW Bluey - do your lot still think Sam Hamann is the big saviour? £12m debts posted this year was it?
