Sometimes I really dispair of this town. What were those kids who sneaked in behind the goal, screaming Wigan and 'going down, going down' all about?

Can you imagine the local kids in Stoke or somewhere doing that? Probably all Man U, Chelski or some other TV inspired supporters, twats....

I blame the parents, my daughter doesn't really like football (too girly) but she knows she supports the Albion, hates Palace and is proud and understands how lucky she is to come from Brighton...

Actually its been discovered that there are no idiots in Honiton. There was a bit of a prat once in nearby Bisley, but Honiton is completely idiot-free apparently.

You say your daughter hates Palace IO but that can be only from your influence because we have only played you twice in 14 years, so it can't be because we whipped your ass when we did play you for her to hate us. Oh hold on we feckin did sorry!

Unless Wigan have a junior southern supporters club (I doubt it they barely have a support in the north) they undoubtably were locals. I and those around me could hear them quite clearly from F block.

It sometimes seems to me that the Albions support is far more passionate around Sussex than it is in Brighton itself. I can only go on my own experience a lot of our support at away games is from around Sussex and a hell of a lot of people are at Brighton Station going off to watch Arse/Spurs/Cheski etc.

Oh and before I get flamed been going home and away since the 70's and yes we all know exceptions to this opinion. including me

I never thought I would say this, but I am agreeing with a Palace fan!!! You should never be ashamed of your roots, irrespective of what you become as where you come from is part of what you are. But as far as Palace fans are concerned, you can never make a silk purse out of a sow's ear!!

I never thought i would see it a Brighton fan agreeing with a Palace fan love! However as Palace fans don't come from one place exclusively (the south-east is our playground!) you may be a little off the mark with your comments there because i am sure there must be Palace fans who live in nice areas somewhere!

But you see I live in Palace territory and I am a Brighton fan and could never be anything else, love! As to Palace fans living in nice areas, maybe one or two.
