O/S says "slight" hamstring pull, will miss Swindon game but may be fit for D&R depending on scan results.

He said he had done his hamstring and was taken home by a friend and lying across the back seat of the car, I expect at least 2 weeks

Shame. The needle between him and the murderer was heating up nicely, and having just been booked for that pre-meditated challenge everyone saw coming from a mile off, I was fairly convinced Adam would have had him off before the hour.

..But we needed Hughes to stay on so he can face Huddersfield on Sunday.

Looked like it was coming - amazed he stayed on for 90 mins.

Saying he may play next Tuesday - that would be a miracle cure

We all know Adam El Abd is; a) the hardest man on earth, and; b) very quick at recovering from injuries. Remember his horrific gash earlier in the season (the pics are on NSC somewhere)?

If it's a torn hamstring it's season over - and it did look bad that he had to be wheeled off.

Trouble is with the amount of games we are playing in such a short space of time these type of injuries are inevitable.

I'd imagine him pointing to his hamstring probably helped the diagnosis.

My point was that he everyody in the crowd and the bench realised as soon as he stretched for the ball that he had done his hamstring and they got Elphick stripped ready before the physio even got to him. It was a very quick reaction by all concerned.

Current news on the OS is that he is out for the next two games and after that "we will see"

Have to say I don't have any concerns with Tommy covering and Dunk on the bench although it does mean Greer probably switching sides and could be a little disruptive in that respect. As long as Ankergren doesn't suddenly decide to start coming for crosses we will be fine :)
