anyone else experiencing this same problem. everytime i click on my favourites tab for ebay i get re-directed to some other shopping site and then a page which cannot be found - the web address for which is : http://www.qksrv.net/click-839040-8151263?SID=658726R50044P6959T36391651&afsrc=1

i don't know what's going on. the second time i click on my tab it works ok but why is this happening? i have changed my favourites ebay address several times icluding the address which goes straight to my ebay but the same thing is happening regardless. it may be to do with my computer but can someone please suggest what to do. it's a real pain in the padded ass.

I'd get hold of a copy of Adaware and Spybot Search and Destroy if I were you. And run them regularly!

e-bay is crap, won't use it again. Tried to sell spare glasto ticket and had a load of scallies trying to pay for it using a dodgy cheque, e-bay did nothing. Gave up and sold it through Cambridge message board instead.

Don't take cheques then only take Paypal. Make sure you add a line in the descripton saying you will add 3% to finish price for Paypal fees.

We said only to use paypal or various other 'safe' ways of paying because of scallies. Glad it didn't go through anyway, the ticket went to someone who actually wanted to go rather than someone who would sell on. In fact the person who bought the ticket also got a lift to glasto with my other half.

Paypal is perfectly safe.

With respect, it sounds like you don't know what you're doing - but that's no reason to diss eBay.

It's used by millions of people every day without problems.

I've sold or bought 180 or so items and have never been ripped off.

Ouch. :D :D

I don't know what I'm doing, was my other half who does not what she's doing and has sold stuff on there before. Now will not touch it with a barge pole. I guess one bad sell/buyer and you can be put off.

Sounds a good idea but I'm too much of a technophobe to have the balls to sell something on there and, I don't know what I'm doing!! :dunce:
