Here's what I think we'll realistically do with a couple of new signings plus Blackwell and Rodger back in the squad:

Reading (A) 1 pt
Plymouth (H) 3
Coventry (H) 1
Wigan (A) 0
Preston (H) 3
Leicester (A) 0
Watford (A) 1
Wolves (H) 1
QPR (H) 3
Gillingham (A) 3
Nottm F (A) 0

That's 16 points by the end of Sep. Anyone know where that would have put us in last year's Div 1 table at the end of Sep?

I'm taking into account NO new signings, as we are now without Leon for the first 3 and possibly Chippy (although he probably will be back) and MAYBE Rodger & Blackwell:

Wigan (A) 0
Preston (H) 1
Leicester (A) 0
Watford (A) 0
Wolves (H) 1
QPR (H) 3
Gillingham (A) 1
Nottm F (A) 0

MRRF probably not far wrong. We will be very very hard to beat (boring) under McGhee. I think we'll set a new record next season for the amount of goalless draws.

I think we'll have around 10 points. We'll be in the thick of a relegation scrap for the whole season. Division One looks a lot stronger this time than last year or the season we were last here.

This is the most likely yet, maybe sneak a draw at Watford.

I was thinking it looked weaker than two seasons ago.

We should be able to pick up a win or two from:
Reading
Plymouth
Preston
Watford
QPR
Gillingham
Crewe
Derby
Burnley
Rotherham
Milwall
Stoke
Cardiff

plus a good number of points elsewhere.

And surely there are three or four among the above list who will accumulate fewer points than us?
