I was listening to Billy Connolly on Desert Island Discs last night and he said how much he liked Erroll Scruggs.

I'd never heard of him, but like a bit of bluegrass. Of course the youtube search revealed that Erroll in Scottish is spelt Earl, and as well as finding the Steve martin video above, I found this one.

A good old boy is Earl, and I'm sorry to learn from NSC that he has passed away. RIP.
