DS ROM Question

I have been looking into this thing where you can download the games and stick them on your own card thing etc.

I have had a look about and people seem to be recommending this bit of kit. Can anyone tell me do I only need that and then a micro sd card to get going, or am I missing the point?

Yes I know that it is not legal and yes I know that I will go to hell but other then that any advice would be welcome.

Spot on, that and a micro SD and you're set.

I have an R4 card which was the most popular card a few years back but they all work pretty much the same - and that Edge has a fairly good rep seeing as it's dirt cheap. However not all these cards are compatible with DSi - Edge isn't which might sway your decision.

If you want to read up on what is best out there at the mo, this forum - GBAtemp.net (Powered by Invision Power Board) has loads of info, albeit sometimes confusing when you're new to it...

Yep they are although I wouldn't recommend R4 anymore as they are all fake knock offs.
