Angry housewife smashes wrong car
An angry German housewife is facing legal action after mistakenly damaging a neighbour's car - thinking it belonged to her husband.
The 43-year-old from Essen was said to have become enraged after speaking to her estranged husband on the telephone.
She grabbed a hammer, ran out to a small, blue car parked in front of their house and began smashing it.
It was only after she'd broken the windscreen, side windows, headlights and side mirrors that she realised she had picked the wrong car.
A second phone call to her husband confirmed he'd parked his own small, blue car further down the street.
Police estimate the damage to the car at about £700 pounds. The woman is facing charges of criminal damage.
