This is true, however there needs to be a minimum number of appearances to be considered for selection. Well there does in my team anyway.

All very good points. But we're currently playing in the Premier League and with, arguably, a much higher standard than when those previously mentioned were playing.

I can see by your profile picture you may be hard to convince. Bruno was a terrific player, one of the best I've seen for Brighton. But did any of his performances in the Premier League come near to Lamptey last night?

No, but I remember Schelotto doing it against Chelsea once and he wouldn't be anywhere near it. Maybe it's a bit early to judge?

Vicente did at least play a couple of seasons for us. Lamptey has played 8 games.

If Lamptey is still with us in 2022 I expect the answer to your question will be a resounding yes. At the moment it’s still Bruno.
