Doe's anybody remember the "I Go Inn" in Brighton?

The reason I ask is because I have the original sign that hung outside the pub. I am currently using it as a coat-stand.
I have no further use for it, and if someone wants to buy it, and give the money to REMF or something, then you're welcome to it.
Heavy, so collection only.

There used to be - still is, probably - a pub in Croydon called Nowhere Inn Particular.

That's quite witty for Croydon.

Have you got rid of your coats then?

Well yes and no, I'm moving and have to get rid of most of things, if someone can gain something out of things I no longer need (not that I ever actually needed the bleeder to start with) then I'm more than willing to give it to someone that will give something to, as I say, some sort of charity.

Thanks Greens :(
*Urban myth alert

A lorry driver who took a wrong turning down a narrow country lane found a pub sign for a 'Red Lion' on the roof of his cab when he got back to his depot

I suppose it makes a change from taking home a cold doner after a night on the piss :jester:

Yes that's good as well. But it still doesn't get us back to the gist of the thread, does it?

I used to drink in there. It had a big sign inside that read:-

The Honest mans pub.
When you get home and the wife asks "where have you been"
You can answer honestly
Nowhere Inn Particular.

There is a pub in Carrick-on-Suir, Ireland, called The Kicham Inn.

Kicham is pronounced Kick-em.

What? I'm not talking about the bleeding Kicham Inn, I'm talking about the bleeding "I Go Inn".
If no-ones interested in it then I'll Kichit down to the tip.
Bang goes another bit of Brightons history...
