I think a lot of people will agree with you but I am not so sure.

Quite a single-minded player (as most forwards are) but not always the best example, i.e getting on at other players, moaning at ref, diving.

Hang on? Moaning at refs? On second thoughts....

Yeh. I think he has been playing the game for long enough, and his passion to win is top class, so yeah, why not.

Just because he's been around the game for a while and doesn't speak like a gangster, doesn't mean he'd make it as a manager.

Have a feeling that with the strikers now at the club, could be a good idea to get the relevant badge and make him player/coach, thus getting rid of the asst. manager ........

I don't wish to appear rude, but Forster has not managed "nuffink" except his bank account !!! how on earth anyone could consider him as a manager at this point in time, well quite frankly is beyond me, has he ever publicly said he would like to be a manager in the future ?

Funnily enough, I had the same thought the other day, based purely on a SCR interview with him before one of the recent Saturday games, he spoke very intelligently, about players in all areas of the pitch, not just striking.

I am sure he has the potential - he certainly speaks a good game. However, the player I would most like to see on the coaching staff in the future is Guy Butters when he finishes his coaching badges.

So how did people like Alex Ferguson and Brian Clough get into management when they finished the game?

Qualifies him for a career as a pundit.
