I think the only famous relative I have was Roger. He was an architect that fought in WWII and was incarcerated in a prison camp. He design the tunnel and helped forge the passports for his comrades escape.

You may have seen the film - The Wooden Horse.

Do you have any notable relatives?

Edit: He was my Great Uncle. :dunce:

Strangely enough, I've never bothered trying to find that out.

Me mum's cousin, who I guess would be my, dunno, great uncle or something, only went and won A NOBEL PRIZE :clap2:

And I quote from wikipedia:

'Sir James Whyte Black, OM, FRS, FRSE, FRCP (born 14 July 1924) is a Scottish pharmacologist who invented Propranolol, synthesized Cimetidine and was awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine in 1988 for these discoveries.'

Beat THAT :clap2:

No. I shall be the first famous person from my family.

Although my Dad did play a couple of games for Albions reserves in which Ricky Marlowe featured for a bit of a remf connection there.

My Grandad played for Portsmouth and possibly a couple of other half-decent teams in the 1950's (ameteur or semi-pro (ish) level I think).

He also scored a couple of goals against a full strength Manchester United team in a charity match.

Thats about it I think!!
