Yes, yes I do. I don't tweet too much, but do enjoy following a couple of friends and lots of Celebrities.

If you are into formula one, http://twitter.com/ScarbsF1 is a must-follow, making it eay to understand some of the more complex mechanical bits on the cars.

I signed up about 18 months ago, have knocked off over 4,000 "tweets" and am approaching 400 followers.

And last night I was up at the BBC where I very nerdily indulged in a three way Tweet affair with Marcus Brigstocke and Ardal O'Hanlan whilst we were all in the same room.

If you are involved in media or technology then it can be very useful

I've had a Twitter account for quite some time now, but in all honesty forgot all about it untill reading Bozzas thread regarding NSC down time, so yesterday i went back into it for the first time in ages, i have people following me as well

I too have had an account, since quite early on.
To this day I have never used it, looked at it, or posted a single word on it.

But have 2 followers.

One day I'm going to blow their minds with something completely profound.

I signed up, mainly for the reasons stated above. I'm in the media sector, and it would probably be useful at times. But I just can't get into it, and I've never done any 'Tweets'. I imagine your average northener would think it's a very poncey southern pastime.

The whole 'followers' thing just continually reminds me of the Life of Brian. Some people are just desperate for someone to follow, doesn't really matter who it is or what they are saying.

By the way what's your signature a quote from? I recognise it but can't place it.
