Meopham, Kent.
It's one of the joys of fatherhood, finally finding someone who is both keen on football and yet I am able to beat them. However, approaching 2 years old he is starting to catch me up fast.

I am quite competitive and when they were little I let them win to encourage them.

Once they got older though it was everyone for themselves, especially at trivial pursuit...........

The word game Boggle is great fun for kids and adults. I was champion for 10 years and haven't won since. Started playing my son when he was 3.

Can no longer out sprint either my son or daughter and I used to be able to thrash both of them :(

At sports, I always played to win against the kids and I loved every minute of it !!!!

However, they got their revenge when we used to play Fight games on the computer. The little brats used to kick the s:censored: t out of me !!!!

When they were younger I used to 'not quite' try my best. Now I do and I *usually* win - although not always. My 10 year-old and I had a very tight round at Roedean pitch 'n' putt yesterday, I only beat him by 4 strokes. Mind you he plays golf and I'd rather watch paint dry.

PS - A very good attempt to re-join the civilised part of the human race Cheshire Dolphin after your earlier effort got you expelled .....

I regularly batter my 8 year old boy at Pro Evolution on the PS2.
I can be quite cruel - sometimes I tell him that if he doesn't score against me, then its bedtime as soon as the match ends. Seeing him getting increasingly desperate as the time ticks down is hilarious, specially when he hits the woodwork.

:lolol: :lolol:

I usually let one in late on though. Dribble out of the area with the keeper or something so he nips it off me and scores. Then he does a lap of honour round the front room.

By the thread title I thought this was something more sinister. My daughter is a bad loser, but as she cheats at most games, rarely loses to me at anything.

Used to take it easy on my littlun' when playing FIFA (PC). He's 6 now and I have to pull out all the stops to scrape a draw against the little so and so:(
