Do we need Football in the Olympics?

It doesn't seem fair that some teams should be without their best players for up to a month.With all the foreign players we are lining up it could even affect us. Don't you think the olympics should go back to their original ideals and invite amateur players only, or am I being naive again.

totally agree with you. It is alos totally pointless, becuase you have the continental competitions and world cup, why is there a need for it in the olympics??

I might be wrong but I don't think FIFA enforce clubs to release players, since it is an AMATURE event like all the olympics.
