has anyone else noticed:

1. Knight warms up on his own.....no one passes to him so he runs up and down himself

2. When he scored only Jones and someone else ( cant remember who) came up to him, everyone else skulked back to the middle.

Thyis is not good. Team spirit is what built the side and gave us momentum...if they all hate each other then we are certainly in for a long season.

yeah, but i think knight falling over in his celebration would have brought a smile to anyones face!

I was at the Training Ground for about half an hour last Thursday and saw no sign whatsoever of Leon Knight being anything other than a fully subscribed member of the squad.

They were playing handball at the time. Leon obviously comes from a basketball background - a very contrasting style of play to the rugby boys, like Nathan Jones and Kerry Mayo.

Seriously though...

It's a bit worrying if there is any friction - I hope the players don't see him as a Premiership fancy dan who's come down to Brighton on some huge wage who thinks he has a right to first team football. Which is kind of what he is - so long as he isn't a fancy dan, I'm sure he's not - he seems pretty grounded from what I can tell.

Remember Graham no mates Barrett last year. Warmed up on his own at many away grounds and even practised taking invisible players on. I think it was Ipswich away where it was notcied most.

I dont think Knight is not liked otherwise he wouldn't have signed if he was the outsider.

and he did a quality interview on SCR (still scum for broadcating Surrey v Essex today!!). Sounded like he was really happy and talked contantly about 'US' and 'WE' and ambitions to be 'top of the pile' at the end of the season.

LK - top man :)

different players have different warm up routines though some like to have fun and play around with team-mates, others like to focus on the task ahead, concentrate and be alone...like some F1 drivers do.

Doesn't look the case in the photographs of the match. I suspect it is just what he feels most comfortable with in his routine.

Yep - don't let's the Arsegas turn this into something more sinister on a slow news day.

I'm sure it's a question of a different warm-up routine - let's face it, you need to be focussed if you're going to have to spend long periods of the game without getting a sniff of the ball, then pick a spot in a goal like he did yesterday. Bobby used to run up and down a bit - then sit in the dugout!!!!

Yesterday was a question of job done, rather than the joyous scenes of the championship win. Also to celebrate with him would have meant getting your boots all sandy!!!

Totally agree Normandy - everyone has their own ways of focusing before a game.... its not anti social its just their routine...

worrying that everyone skulked back to the middle.
Alex Ferguson goes mad if everyone doesn't mob the scorer.

some players just like being left alone beofre a game- i know i always i have. not everyone wants a laugh and a joke before the kickoff.

He was on loan with us before he signed. If they really didn't like him, he would have signed for QPR.

I personally haven't noticed anything unusual but will look out for it in the future
