Do Refs get drug tested?

The thought came randomly into my mind earlier... Do Refs ever get drug tested? Imagine Mike Dean after a heavy night on the charlie... Surely it would affect the outcome of a match?

Many should have regular eye tests at least.

going by most of the Refs it would need to be a multiple choice test and definitely not a visual test.

Could always drug test the fans

As players aren't I don't see why the FA would even think to test referees.

It's fairly obvious half the ones we get are on acid, or similar. No testing needed.

I love the fact that this question occurred to you. That kind of thought would only ever have come into my head when. . . Well shall we say, I would have struggled with a drug test!
