That article states that Albion's sell-on clause is "..understood to be 15 percent.." which is, as far as I am aware, the first time its exact value has been reported (the Argus stated in July 2023 that it was "..10-15%..".

So if he goes for the higher figure mentioned £58.5m) we would get £577.500.

I read it that we're get 15% of whatever Coventry get, not 15% of the transfer profit. So, say Coventry received 10% of £30 million, we would get 15% of that £3 million, so, about £450k.

Or have I read that wrong?

That is correct. We will already have received 15% of whatever profit Coventry made when they sold him and will now receive a further 15% if whatever Coventry receive as their sell on clause.
