I read the Daily Telegraph. I own most of Wiltshire and a bit of Dorset. I also read it because they have the best sports writers.
However and not just this particular report, and (as a team that deserves equal measure to Peterborough, Bristol, Tranmere and Fleetwood or add another team), the fact that Brighton won 2-0 away at the the run away leaders of the Championship........we had two sentences.

To paraphrase, will Cardiff bottle it again, will they make a Welsh premiership match up happen. Are they starting to question themselves...... and Brighton moved nearer to a play off position.

Cardiff 0 BHA 2 please write about the game. Even though you have to keep your job, surely a win against Hull and Cardiff warrants a comment.

Call me a cynic, but I fully expect him to start offering seo/it support anytime soon and I highly doubt he is from USA, my guess is India

Just a thought about the integrity of sports journalism. See what you see, rather than write a story about a story which would sit beautifully as an editorial.
And Eagles..... you win. I live in Bangalore.

What the hell is wrong with you? And if you understand grammar, it's 'I didn't think' , not bloody don't. Honest thought reduced to a pointless argument.

Also all the papers we read on way home had us as the only or one of only two, matches in the Champ they reviewed. It was always the lead story

5th biggest league in the Europe is the Championship, definitely a market for someone to reflect this in their coverage

While we are obviously consumed by the triumph of our glorious team, the wider readership of a national daily paper is probably more interested in whether Cardiff are going to blow promotion yet again. I imagine Blackburn fans were similarly frustrated by the small number of column inches given to their team's part in the game at the Emirates on Saturday in the Sunday and Monday papers.

As for the Torygraph having the best sports writers, they have Paul Hayward, Henry Winter and Mick Cleary. But also Jonathan Liew and Jason Burt.

The heat makes it hard to sleep today so thought I'd respond to this. Arsenal field a sub standard side in the FA Cup with hopes of silverware in Europe. For a side with the pedigree of Arsenal, another trophy less season is a story. Blackburn fans I'm sure couldn't care less about column inches and nor should they. Arsenal are one of the top Premiership teams who quite rightly feature in the national press.

But I'm pretty sure that the two columns reserved for the downfall of Cardiff on the fifth page of football insight were news to even the most avid reader. All I asked for was a report on the game rather than a conversation on a situation. And if you beat the league leaders 2 - 0 away the Telegraph won't lose advertising space on a couple of lines about who deserved to win.

What a plonker! I asked a simple question and get this response. Was really trying to be nice to a "guest" but clearly wasted on you - IGNORE

No you was not trying to be nice as you say, I remember a comment you made when I started a thread about a new test for pancreatic cancer. Just to set your mind at rest, I was at work until 7am and I have to stay awake as I have a meeting in Waterloo at 3pm. Please keep me on ignore
