Surprised their has not been a thread on this already.

The slo-mo clearly shows that Crouch grab Sancho's dreadlocks whilst jumping to nod the ball in. Not a nice feeling having to cheat to beat a lesser team. Are we now playing the Argie way?

Discuss.

Crouch needs to keep his arms out the way he was for ever being penalised yesterday for obvious fouls by using his arms

Edit: beat me to it

It is a natural reaction to put your arms up when jumping, unless you are a Masai warrior. Should arms in the air be banned as well as everything else?

There have been a ludicrous amount of yellow cards for silly little things and more diving than the Summer Olympics. That needs to be sorted out!

My favourite tabloid Bild has a big story on this with lots of pics of Crouch grabbing Santos's dreads, with the headline

"England reach the last 16 through hair-pulling"

Crouch does actually tend to JUMP for headers, he just lets the ball bounce off his head. Lawrence made it hard for him yesterday because he actually needed to jump to win headers!

When I saw the goal at full speed it looked like climbing. When I saw it in slow mo I could see that their was minimal contact and certainly no climbing.

Well spotted Ref.

Is there actually a rule that states: "you must not yank the opposing player by the dreadlocks"?

If there is, then it was a foul. If not, it was all in the spirit of fair play.

He went to the Jimmy Case Scholarly Association of Groomers and Fruiterers.
He yanked Reggie's blinkers in that friendly didn't he? The one we lost 7-1 to the mighty Weds?
