Liam Dickinson joined the club last week after being released by Barnsley at the end of last season. "Regrettably, we have agreed to a request from Liam to be released," acting chairman Peter Ridsdale said. The 25-year-old has also played for Brighton and Derby County and has scored 54 goals in his career. "We fully understand the reasons why," added Ridsdale. "Liam has been a thorough professional in the short time he has been with us, and we hope that things will work out for him," he added.
