In todays business section of the printed Argus (cannot see it online yet) there is a very sympathetic article about our Derek and running a construction company in these difficult times. It ends up with a great quote from the man " Only three things in life are certain - death, taxes and getting let down by the Albion"

Ok, based on knowing him when he was a lad and in his early 20's. Not a close friend by any means, but a decent bloke who worked hard and did well. Add that to the fact he supported Albion before he had money.

Many of us would say that if we had money we would put it into the club, well, he has.
