New monster star in the making: six foot grunting amazon 20 year old Aryna Sabalenka. Earlydoors, but already giving Caroline Wozniacki a TORRID time in the Eastbourne final. One to watch at Wimbledon.

7-5 first set Wozniacki. No 2 seed looking decidedly stretched against No 45 seed who has played about twice as much tennis as her oppenent this week in horrible heat. Must feel to Wozniacki that she's facing an Eastern European Williams sister. Tremendous stuff!

7-6 second set and win to Caroline Wozniacki. Aryna Sabalenka is one hell of a prospect. The Eastbourne crowd love her. As do I. Apart from anything else, gotta love the tattoos and the bright red painted nails

Watched Sabalenka's previous 2 matches this week - she is awesome. The umpire quietly told her off re the noises she makes yesterday and once she quietened down, she played better. Wozniaki is playing well though, as is Kerber.

Sabalenka will be my first pick in my Monday Tennis acca.
