[Football] Denial In Croydon

Just had a look at the Croydon Advertiser - https://www.croydonadvertiser.co.uk/ - I was interested to see how they reported the match last night. In the main headlines there is an article about a pie being thrown on the pitch. Nowhere in the whole paper, not even in the section headed 'Football' is there any reference to or report on last night's game. I suppose if you just don't mention it at all it never happened. Will probably be updated at some point but I was very surprised!

A brief report is on the link to piegate, they then mention the arrests and, in order to deflect the story away from two "London resident" fans being arrested for attacking an emergency worker, they start on about last year and Sussex Police making up stories.
