Just interviewed on John Barnes Soccer Night

Dropped out of the league by choice and now is playing for Havant and Waterlooville.

Was asked to write a drama for the BBC based upon his life. which he has.

Bizarre, but I'd like to read his autobiography....

I choked on my tea as his manager is David Leworthy. He rejected going into the professional game a couple of times and gained a few amuter England caps.

Leworthy was one of my heroes at Dover.
