Dean Hammond earns new contract.

According to the Argus Dean Hammond has been given a contract extension, it doesn't say for how long though.

he was excellent yesterday, and he shouldnt lose his place to carpenter on current form. shame his effort from the corner didnt go in as that would have given him a lot more confidence.

I agree. Carpenter should wait for his return until one of our midfield has a poor game. He has no right to be in the starting line up as a matter of course.

Hammond has been playing as though he has been in the side for months. I don't think we should be changing anything in the middle of the park at the moment.

The spine of the team looks good at the mo, Cullip and Butters, Hammond and Nicolas, and Virgo up front. Bit of a future there.
