David Livermore

Havent seen much of Livermore in pre season apart from Ipswich. too slow for left back. Hull fans seem to like him and say good defensively. Has Adams been unimpressed by him and has he been a bit of a let down? Surely he was bought in to play first XI?

I think he will start in midfield, next to Thomson... and do a pretty good job too.

I think the fact he's number 10 means he won't be playing much at left-back, and will be in midfield.

When are we going to have a striker as number 10 though?

Livermore for me... agree he has not been great pre-season, but El-Abd is just NOT and never will be a midfielder... he cannot pass which, IMHO, is THE key attribute of any midfielder...

I think that Livermore and Thomson will start in midfield and just to be contraversial I think that El Abd will start at RB instead of Whing because his defensive qualitises are as good as Whings but his distribution when he has the ball is far better than either Whing or Elphick come to that.

In fairness to him I do not think that there is anybody at the club who would have caught that Ipswich winger in full flight, he was very quick.
