"Brighton manager Mark McGhee has released midfielder David Lee after deciding against offering him a new short-term contract.
The former Tottenham trainee joined Brighton in 2002 but made only six appearances for The Seagulls.
He spent time on loan at Bristol Rovers and Thurrock.
Lee is now looking for a new club and ironically, his next match could be for Leyton Orient against Brighton.
"I have been speaking to a few clubs and Orient want me to play next week in a friendly against Brighton," he revealed.
Colchester and non-league Hornchurch are also reportedly interested in the 24-year-old."
