That has really come out of the British authorities making a bit of a pigs ear of the whole thing. Rather than dishing out a fine and a ban, they seemed to be waiting for the Police in Germany to press charges, but that never happened, so Chisora was left in limbo by the British. He wasn't banned, he had his British license revoked, BUT was told he could re-apply here or anywhere else he chose for a boxing license.

I'm sure that if they had fined him, and given him a 6 month ban (or even 9) he would have stuck to that, and fought after the time was up. While I think the actions between Chisora were ugly, I also think they were orchastrated, and the British Boxing Board of Control, simply made a hash of dealing with it.

Having said all that, I have minimal interest in watching the fight, but not because of whether I like or dislike the personalities.

Edit: Tch, I've already gone from zero interest to minimal. That's what boxing does to me, I dismiss a fight and then it slowly eats away at me. By the time it comes round, I'll be on the edge of my seat.

sometimes it's the not the most skiful boxers who produce the best fights

Interesting choice of venue. Can imagine a fair few scraps in the crowd as well as in the ring as Haye will take a large and vocal Bermondsey following.

Otherwise I would probably spend the afternoon in the pub, convince myself it is worth paying £15 to watch it, after saying all along I won't, then kick myself when Haye knocks him out inside the first two rounds and feel totally conned, again!!!...This is all about getting Haye a shot at Vitali Klitschko.

COME ON DEREK! Thrash his hyped up but useless arse.
Haye had his chance but ended up being a complete let-down. These men need to make a living so OF COURSE they should fight if the public want it, and they do. Don't forget Chisora gave Klitschko the toughest fight he's had for 10 years, he's the best we've got so good luck to him.

Seeing as Warren isn't actually promoting the fight it will be very hard to remove his promoters licence. Warren isn't stupid and will make sure his future business isn't affected by this one fight.
