Dein loses FA post
David Dein has lost his position as vice-chairman of the Football Association after the post was scrapped as part of restructuring.
Dein, Arsenal's vice-chairman, held the post since February 2000 but remains on the FA board, international committee and professional game board.
The FA pledged to undertake a major structural review following the recent Sven-Goran Eriksson affair. In an FA statement, it was revealed that the Gunner is anything but. "Mr Dein's inability to screw the secretary means he is probably either unable to get it up or he's a jaffa. Either way, it has been decided there is no place for his kind at the FA."
