After reading the book last week I decided to get the dvd.

If you get the chance watch it, much better that Ricky Gervais in my view.

Tried to watch it once, got about half an hour in and that was all I could take of Gorman's mugging. He was never that irritating before.

It took a while to get into it, and I prefer Danny Wallace I think and his two books - Yes man and Join me are better I think but this was very enjoyable.

Dave Gorman's one of these lazy untalented fucks like Danny Wallace. They both want to be authors and presenters but have nothing to say. They'll do some slackerist thing like look up Yellow Pages for people with the same name, or push a fridge-freezer round Albania, just so they can bring out a book of zero intrinsic value about it. Totally disagree with that. All of the books that I have read by Gorman and Wallace convey a story and are really well written and laugh out loud funny. To call them talentless fucks is a bit harsh.

But had they not done it, sooner or later, someone else would have done the same. To be honest though, they both did very good jobs with their books and shows and both very funny.

The Googlewhack Adventure show is being shown by the Paramount Comedy Channel every so often. Watched it a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it.
