"The inspirational defender is currently in the last year of his three-year deal with the Seagulls, but Cullip says he is keen to negotiate new terms.

"From my point of view, we just need to get on with it. I don't know if I've got a contract next season at the club, but that will be sorted out as the season goes on. The main thing for the club is to make sure that they get the ground and then we can go from there.

"But I'm very happy and very settled here."

and he's got his priorities right!!

is'nt that what they usually say 2 weeks before leaving for another club? ???

just like the board giving the manager the "vote of confidence" then sacking him the very next day!

If he was gonna leave he would have done ages ago. He is a stripe through and through and McGhee has said a contract will spawn once the club has realised its financial position so they know exactly what they can offer him.

No worries as yet

:):clap2: as Micky would say: "Keep the Faith"

Danny has never f***ed us in the past so I believe he has no intentions.

danny cullip is a hero a legend and there no way he leaving the albion he achieved more here then his other previous clubs the only reason we have not given the contract is because of the stadium issue but it will be sorted next year.

Totally agree, anyone who says anything negative about Cullip should be ashamed. The bloke is a legand and is a very big reason for our success over the past 5 years.

alan smith was a hero and legend, and he walked out on leeds for their rivals!

if we go down danny will go - and if we can only keep him or leon then leon will have to go

and you can say that about peter ward aswell he was a legend and then we sold him to nottingham forest!!!
